24th June - In yet another debut, our two year old Vale Royal Barrister Bill went to his first show, the SHB(GB) Potential Competition Horse show at Osbaldeston. He was entered in the two year old colt or gelding Sport Horse class, and behaved like a perfect gentleman to win first. Yes, FIRST! The judges were very complimentary about him. He headed off competition from a very strong line up of eight. 20th June - Our Sec. D mare, Koh i noor Midget Gem, and her foal George, went to their first ever show. Gem was reinvented as a show hunter pony, and she and George entered the SHP breeding classes at Cheshire County Show and both came fourth! Both behaved beautifully, and we are pleased with their first county ribbons.
30th May - Last but not least, our small TB mare Chapelwood Storm Glass has produced a bay tobiano colt foal by the name of Edward, to the stallion Goshka Ringo. He is beautifully marked, and has an exquisite head. All mums and babies are doing well, and we are delighted to finally have them all on the ground!
22nd May - Our coloured mare Witney Hou gave birth to an enormous chesnut colt foal. Named Frederik, he is the image of his grandsire, the renowned Fidermark. Check his sire Festivo's page to see details!
14th May - In the early hours, our warmblood mare Trenawin Louisa foaled down. She is now the proud mum of a striking bay filly foal by the Irish Olympic reserve stallion Luidam. We have named her Lucy.
14th April - Good Friday! Our Sec D foaled down, a very easy birth and is now the proud mother of a bay colt foal George. He is bright and very bold and leading Mum a dance already! Both are doing well, a good start to the season. 31st March - A Sec. D pony we bought to school on and sell, only to discover she was in foal, looks as though she will foal soon. We have no idea of due dates, so we can only wait in anticipation! |
