Please remember to be consistent with your combination names next year, and if something changes mid-season, you must declare it so everything is a fair and level playing field. But I’m sure I don’t need to tell you that!

Don’t forget rooms are still available at the Holiday Inn, and you won’t get in without a ticket bought beforehand. Time is getting on for ordering rosettes and sashes too.

Thanks to everyone who came to our last show of the season today. We hope you had a good day at the show.

Well this is it, the final goodbye for 2011. We would like thank everyone who has come to our shows this year, it has been a fantastic year with the quality of competition being excellent as always. The committee has worked hard every month since the start of the year to put together a full programme of shows while promoting the North West Showjumping & Working Hunter Championships. 2011 also saw the launch of the Blue Chip North West Showing Championships. On top of that we’ve held Show Jumping Clinics with Jane Carruthers and a Fun Day in August too.

Don’t forget to book your tickets for our Presentation Night @ Holiday Inn, Runcorn on Saturday 26th November.

Everything you need to know for our Perpetual Championship Trophy Show – open to members and non-members.

Well here we are, the final show of the season! How fast has the season gone!!

The show is open to members and non-members with all the usual Bridgewater classes to take part in.

Please enter on the day with Special Jump For Joy Rosettes and Trophy on offer.

Bridgewater Riding Club are sending 4 teams ( 2 in each height section) to the Jump for Joy Mark Davis Injured Rider Team Show on the 30th October at Adlington Equestrian Centre.  To be part of our teams please let our show jumping judges know you are interested.  There are excellent team prizes – there are also individual classes you can enter.  Money raised goes to this excellent charity.

1. Where is the show? We are based in the heart of Cheshire near Northwich in the North West and easily accessible from M56, M6 and A556. You can get directions here.

2. Looking for a show schedule? Click here to see what’s on. We’ve got ShowJumping, Working Hunter, Showing, Equitation, Handy Pony, Gymkhana and don’t forget our new classes which include Racehorse to Riding Horse and Foreign Breeds. Unfortunately we cannot say what time individual classes will start as it depends on how busy each class is!

3. How to enter? Our shows are open to both members and members. To become a member for the year it is only £20. Pre-entry is only £5 for members (per class) and on the day £6. All classes are £8 to non-members.

4. What are your rules? Read the schedule information carefully and check out the rules page.

5. Is the show on? Only in the event of bad weather will we cancel. A decision is made on Friday evening. We will post on the website, Facebook and Twitter if the show is cancelled by Saturday morning.

Well, this is it… The countdown to the final show of the season! Those of you looking at the points will know if you are in the running for trophies or not. A few surprises are always thrown up, as well as the extra trophies we don’t tell you about until Presentation Night, so keep Saturday 26th November free! Tickets will be on sale at the September show, so get yours and ensure a front row seat! We will be at Holiday Inn Runcorn, as you know, and we are hoping to negotiate room discounts for those of you wishing to stay. I’ll keep you informed as I get the details.

We have our Junior quiz and newsletter as usual, make sure you get your completed quizzes sent in with your pre entries, or bring along on show morning to hand in ready for the prize draw from all correct entries. We always have some lovely prizes!

If you were lucky enough to win one of the perpetual trophies at our September Championship Show, you need to return it as soon as possible.

On the show day is NOT acceptable. Please contact Rowena to arrange returning your trophy on 07759079729. For Presentation Night perpetual trophies, these MUST be returned by the September show. Every year we have to chase one or two, and it’s ridiculous that we risk someone not receiving their trophy on the big night due to someone being too thoughtless to return it. Believe me, you do NOT want a visit from me the night before Presentation to collect it! So keep your chairman happy and return them all to the September show.

Fancy dress is free to enter and is judges at lunchtime
