Bridgewater Riding Club is home to some of the North Wests biggest monthly horse & pony shows. Based in Cheshire, Bridgewater Riding Club welcomes over 300 entries of all ages and abilities each month across 7 different arenas with events including Show Jumping, Working Hunter, Equitation, Showing, Family, Handy Pony, Handy Horse & Gymkhana.

Our friends over at Crumleigh Heath Farm are holding a number of Winter Eventing shows over the coming months. If you are interested in taking part the dates are:
Saturday 30th January
Saturday 27th February
Saturday 27th March
Saturday 24th April
Class 1: BE90 dressage test, show jumping x cross country – 75-85 cm
Class 2: BE100 dressage test, show jumping x cross country – 85-95cm
Dressage will be indoors and jumping on an outdoor all weather surface. Entry fee is £20. The Crumleigh Heath Farm events are not part of Bridgewater Riding Club. If you have any queries please contact Jackie Slater at jackie.slater@hotmail.co.uk.

Details of the 2010 North West Show Jumping Championships have been updated today.
Now in it’s 6th year, the 2010 North West Show Jumping Championships will be held once again on the August Bank Holiday weekend at the Bridgewater Riding Club Showground @ Brookhouse Equestrian Centre in Cheshire. Ponies competing on Saturday 28th August and horses on Sunday 29th August. In 2009, riders traveled from 10 counties to compete, representing over 25 riding clubs and shows.
We are looking for sponsors for classes, rosettes, trophies and jumps. If you are interested in sponsoring the Championships, please see the sponsor page for more information.

A big thank you to everyone who turned up to the Annual General Meeting last night, it was great to see so many new faces. Thank you to everyone who put forward questions, it was great to hear your feedback and we will discuss everything at the next committee meeting.
We will be bringing you news of the new members of the 2010 committee, together with a fully confirmed calendar and schedule in the next couple of weeks.
We can confirm that Ruth Clifton was overwhelmingly voted back in as Chair for another season, she will be joined by new Vice-Chairman Dave Pomphret. Congratulations to Ruth and Dave!
The first committee meeting for 2010 will take place on Monday 1st February, 7.30pm at The Hazel Pear.
