APRIL 2010 NEWSLETTER
Hi all!
Well, it looks like the weather may be in our favour this time… as I type, the sun is shining and the showground is in fantastic nick.
Our next show is Sunday 25th April. Don’t forget that this coming show is a Trophy show, with trophies to all class winners. Schedule can found here.
Qualifiers at this months show include UK Showing Finals, Greater Manchester Showing Finals, Midlands Championships, North West Working Hunter Championships and North West Show Jumping Championships.
Entry forms can be found here, so please get them to Carol before Thursday. If you entered the last show, your entries have been carried forward. If you cannot attend, please contact Carol as entries will not automatically carry over a second time. If she knows the situation, she can organise your entries!
Replacement Show
I know it’s disappointing to lose a show early in the season, but it will be replaced and will run on August 15th. That way, you get your full quota of six shows!
Junior Newsletter
Don’t forget to check out the junior newsletter by clicking here.
You may well find some of our junior committee asking if you have time to answer a few questions on show day. They want to interview members for publication in their newsletter, so if you can spare the time, do please help them
out.
Also, the quiz this month will be drawn separately from the entries for last month, and there will be separate prizes. So do send your Junior quiz entry in, even if you did last month’s!
Charity
Previous members will remember that we donate the proceeds from each show’s clear round to charity, splitting between a horse and a human charity. This month we are patronising the Brooke Hospital for Animals and Manchester Children’s Hospital.
Our own Gill Hanley is doing a charity run for MCH so we are proud to support her and the good works both these charities do.
